Episode 112: Data-Driven Strength ft. Zac Robinson and Josh Pelland

Today, Kevin hosts the team behind Data-Driven Strength, Zac Robinson and Josh Pelland. Kevin, Zac, and Josh have differing viewpoints on utilizing data to inform strength training programming, but ultimately come to similar conclusions. They start and end the show chatting about a new journal article, “Rethinking Proximity to Failure for Strength Gains,” written by Zac and Josh, which you can read here.

Zac has a B.S. in exercise science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is currently a graduate research assistant at Florida Atlantic University’s Muscle Physiology Laboratory. You can find him on Instagram at @zac.datadrivenstrength.

Josh has a B.S. in exercise science from The Ohio State University. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
